My deepest condolences to Rhys’s family at this time. I was privileged to meet Rhys on a number of occasions and was always impressed with his passion and dedication for all things environmental. He was a champion of many initiatives to protect natural spaces and creatures in our area and he will be truly missed, but his legacy will be the beautiful spaces he helped protect such as Brydon Lagoon. He was a caring and amazing man and his passing is a great loss to our community.

I am sad to learn of Rhys' passing. He made such wonderful contributions and touched the lives of many people, mine included.
Rhys and Annabel sparked my interest in travelling and living in interesting places.
Fond memories of Rhys remain with me and bring a smile to my face when I think of them.
