Obituary of Laura Bryce

Please share a memory of Laura to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Our precious daughter, Laura passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 11.  She leaves behind her loving partner Alex, his mother Jayne and step -dad Jona, her parents George and Jan, brother Rob and partner Emilie, Auntie Carol Anne, Uncle Grenville, Auntie Tracy, cousin Piers and fiancée Gabby, cousin Channing as well as her fur babies, Tuna and Zee.  We will all miss Laura terribly and can’t imagine our lives without her. Our family is heartbroken.

Laura was beautiful inside and out.  She radiated kindness and empathy throughout her life and in return she was loved by so many.  Her accepting nature allowed her to help the less fortunate and reach out to anyone in need.  She cared deeply about wildlife and the world, even adopting a baby elephant for her mother.

She loved her job at Brix and Mortar, working with Jaimie and Julie, as well as being a premier server at Club 500 during the Canuck season.  Most of all, she loved the people she worked with as they became as close as family to her.

Laura was a Downtown girl.  She loved the energy, the vibrance and the 24-hour life.  Then she would return to the West End to its tranquility and charm.  She was also very proud of earning her Bachelor Degree from SFU’s Downtown Campus.

Laura will be forever loved and cherished by many. We will never forget the positive impact she had on our lives.  A private celebration is being planned for September. Donations may be made in her memory to Foundry Langley
