Sharron Lind

Obituary of Sharron Margo Lind

Please share a memory of Sharron to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness we announce that Sharron passed away, from PSP (progressive supranuclear palsy) after a courageous 3 year battle, at Fort Langley Seniors Community with her loving husband Ken and sister Linda by her side.  Sharron worked for over forty years for Shoppers Drug Mart and its predecessor on Robson Street in Vancouver and at several locations in Langley.  She was a conscientious hard working employee who rarely missed a day of work, even while riding her bicycle five miles to work and five miles back home each day – year round, many times in rain and darkness.  Sharron was quiet by nature, quick to laugh, sensitive and compassionate and enjoyed the simple things in life, nature, wildlife (especially ducks), gardening – member of the Langley Garden Club, fishing and baking.  Sharron was born in Vancouver and loved the last forty-one years in Langley.  Sharron is survived by her loving husband, of forty-six years, Ken, sisters Linda Miller (Tom), Kathy Stevens, brother-in-law Rob Lind (Julie), special friend Rita Wilton, and many first and second generation nephews and nieces.  She will be greatly missed by many who were fortunate enough to have known her.  We wish to give special thanks to the many caregivers at Fort Langley Seniors Community who’s caring and kindness made her stay there the best it could be.  Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
