My condolences to the family no words can express this terrible loss my heart goes out to you all at this time. I first met mark when our kids where about 1 I use to watch Alley he was an amazing outgoing kind man and incredible father. All though we drifted apart we stayed connected through Facebook. The pure joy you could see with his wife and kids. Your memories will live on through your loved ones RIP Mark

To all of Marks family; my deepest condolences.
Mark, I'm going to miss you bro. I am honoured and blessed to have had you as a friend, from all the times at the Gellatly ferry docks to the bush parties, to the house parties in Rutland and all the fun nights out on the town, to being one of my groomsmen at my wedding. You were there at the hospital when my son was born. We didn't see as much of each other when kids and careers took off, but I enjoyed our conversations when we had them. I won't ever forget you bro, the world is a lesser place without you in it. Until we meet again.

It is easy to see what a wonderful man we have lost, just from the comments on Facebook and on this page. We don't tell our families and friends often enough how much they mean to us until it it too late. I love you all. Be safe.

I have not seen mark in years, but I remember the fun loving guy who I used to party with. Mark was a blast and always seemed to mediate and never be on one side or another in an argument. Sorry to all of Mark's friends and family for your loss.

To Mark's Family
Thoughts and prayers go out to you . Our deepest sympathy. Mark was a special guy, he processed many good morals , his golden heart , his fight for causes and didn't matter how poor, rich , male or female, black or white you needed help Mark had your back regardless what anyone else thought. Mark lived life to the fullest, skydiving, loved the outdoors whether he was quadding, hiking, fishing etc. His family was number 1 . The best Dad, spouse, son, brother, uncle, friend . Loved kids and was very good with kids. My son and Mark were brothers from different mothers so to speak. They always had each other's back, they went through good times , bad times and they were always there for each other. Mark you promised me you would win my heart and you did over and over. I loved you like a son and I feel so empty but you gave me many good memories I will cherish in my heart and will keep your memory going forward. You graduated to heaven to watch over all of us and you will. Love you second son . Love Sandi and Herb Giddings xoxo
