I will love and miss you forever Heather, you are one of a kind, dynamic and vibrant, intensely focused and wonderfully relaxed, lighthearted and infinitely wise, all at the same time. Note that the word ARE is used deliberately, Heather you ARE alive and you will ALWAYS BE ALIVE in the hearts, spirits, souls and lives of those you've touched with your special and magical way of bringing out the best in those around you. You'll forever continue blazing across our consciousness, bright as the sun, always coming to mind and warming our hearts with beautiful sunny memories of your time with us on earth. We will see you again my friend, in the meantime I'll think of you and picture your laughter echoing in the heavenly realms, delighting God's ear and endearing you to your fellow angels. You've earned your spot in heaven, and it's where your spirit belongs, communing with other souls of equal integrity, courage, good humor and moral fiber. You fought long and hard without complaint, with sword in hand til the very end, fighting til your last breath to stay on earth with those you love, and you left us knowing that you'd used every weapon available to stay here as long as you possibly could, you gave your best and you gave your all, on the field of life and love. There is none on earth dear friend,to match your honesty, your fiery wit, no one kinder, truer or braver than you, and I'm going to miss you until the end of time.
We who loved you will catch glimpses of you often though, each time one of your daughters smiles, and a look of pure mischievous mirth flits across their faces, turning up the corners of their mouths and setting that familiar twinkle of yours alight in their eyes. Yes, you'll live on, and I'm so grateful for that, it makes losing you almost bearable. You know without even asking that I'll be here for your children and for Stan, it's an honor and a privilege that I gladly accept, they are, and will continue to be, part of the Kemege clan, as well as the MacDonald and Holbrook clans. We Frousins look out for one another and there will be many, many vacations, visits, phone calls, Fourth of Julys and Seattle and California visits to look forward to. Graduations, college, heartbreaks, wedding showers, baby showers, we're in for all of it. Our grief will eventually pass, but our love and joy in knowing you will remain, a bright torch to light even the darkest days of life, in all times and seasons. Thank you for lighting up my life Heather, and the lives of all of those around you, I always loved you, and I know that you always loved me too. Fly free and high with the biggest wings, and purest heart in heaven. When I get there I'll just smile and listen for your laugh, I'd know anywhere. See you in heaven my dear friend, til then I'll love and miss you always. XOXOXOXO Alannah Kemege

Your candle burnt all so bright but was exstinguished far too soon. I will miss your ever present smile and the joy that you brought to your family. As the oldest sister, it was my job to pave the way thru life but somehow that not always happens. You were always there when anyone needed a helping hand and you gladly pitched in no matter what it was. Your finacial advice was given freely without prejudice. You showed great couragous in this battle and your endurance to fight only proves that even in adversity sometimes we win. I light this candle because you will never be gone but will always live in my heart forever.
