My condolences go out to the Brcic family. Your mom and grandmother was a great lady who I will never forget. She always had a smile on her face and welcomed you into her home. She reminded me of my mother who also made the journey alone across the Atlantic to find a better life for her family.

I'm so glad to have found out what happened to Kathy. I enjoyed my conversations with Kathy around 152a street in 2015-2016. I have been asking residents of 152a street why Kathy has disappeared recently but they did not know. My mother, Eleanor Newton, of condo unit #407, had one of her brothers die recently. Eleanor Newton is attending her brother's funeral this Saturday at 1:30 pm in Salmon Arm. We are both sorry that we cannot attend Kathy's service on Friday. Kathy had a wonderful obituary. My uncle's obituary in the Salmon Arm Observer newspaper had two mistakes. I was happy to talk to the witty Kathy as she seemed alittle lonely in 2015-2016. It was understandable that someone would want to immigrate from communist Yugoslavia to my country. Canada is peaceful, especially with the recent deaths of nice people. My uncle served in Canada's army in " World War Two ", which affected Yugoslavians and Canadians greatly. R.I.P..
