Please share a memory of Juanito to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
After a courageous 8 year battle, Victor passed away peacefully on February 22, 2016 with his wife, Lucy and sons, John and Aaron by his side. Throughout his life, Victor challenged status quo, took on difficult tasks to achieve the unachievable in order to better the lives of his families and the world around him, all with a positive attitude and a broad smile. A person with great sense of responsibility and integrity, he kept promises and made sacrifices to better the lives of those he loved. First became CPA from the Philippines in 1969, Victor worked in the Philippines then was assigned to Taipei. Immigrating to Canada in 1975, he pursued and obtained CGA and CMA designations in 1985 and joined Canada Revenue Agency soon after, where he worked until retirement. He was active as a union steward, helping to better management – union relationship within CRA. “Life is good” was on his lips to the last days of his life. He will be missed by all who knew him. For those so desiring, donations in memory of Victor, may be directed to St. Bernadette Catholic Church 6543 – 132 Street, Surrey, BC V3W 4L4.
