The Best Ways to Cope

It’s normal to grieve, and sorrow and mourning are part of the healing process. But in order to cope, it's important to proactively do a few things, such as:

  • Improve eating habits and maintain regularity with meals
  • Not neglect your health
  • Try to maintain a regular sleep routine
  • Get some fresh air and exercise to keep healthy
  • Spend some time with friends and family- this will help you lighten up a bit and forget your stresses
  • Meditate
  • Discuss what you are going through with someone you trust

If you try to do some or all of these things, depending on the symptoms you’re experiencing, you should be able to handle your grief in a much better, healthier way. For information about our services, contact us or give us a call (604) 888-9895. We at Arbutus Funeral Service will be happy to help
