Have you pre-planned your funeral? Did you know that more and more people are doing this to save their family from the heartache of planning this for them? It is becoming more common for people to pre-plan. However, many people are still under the impression that they do not have to plan for their funeral until they are much older.

What is the Perfect Age to Plan Your Funeral?

The age as to which people are starting to plan their funeral varies. However, people should not think that they have another 30 years to plan their funeral. Many of those who come to pre-plan their funeral are often in their early 30’s or at that point in their lives in which they have a lot of finances, children and the like. What you should realize is that now may be the time to pre-plan your funeral.

Why should you pre-plan your funeral? Here are a few benefits that are often given to those who do:

  • They know that their family will not be out of any money in order to plan this funeral for them

  • They can have peace of mind knowing that when something does happen to them that their final wishes will be carried out

  • This takes away the burden from parents or kids planning this funeral for you, which can often help them to avoid emotional upheaving when the time comes

These benefits are for your family. This is why the sooner that you pre-plan, the better off you will be. It is something that may be hard to do right now, as no one wants to imagine their death. However, the relief that you will be giving your family when you are gone is well worth the emotional pain it may cause you to plan this now.

Here at Arbutus Funeral Services, we can help you to pre-plan your funeral and ensure that your legacy is just how you want it to be, and your family does not have to worry about this stress.
