I met Barb in about 1998 through Stewart Henderson. She was part of the Coldwell Banker group then in Vancouver. She was always a giving person and I got to know her well over the years and I was always grateful for her insight. We had a ton of laughs especially at her writing enforceable contracts course and I looked forward to her emails "Barb's buzz" with the latest trends in our business. I will remember her fondly. Barbara, Bev (Ward) Coates, and I shared a unique bond. We shared our beloved Aunt Mary who passed away just 4 days before Barbara at the age of 97. She and Aunt Mary were more like daughter and mother over the years both living in Vancouver most of their lives. They had a very special bond. She took care of Aunt Mary and saw to all her needs over the years. When Bev and I reconnected with Barbara several years ago, she referred to us as the "three niecekateers". She had such poise and a great sense of humour. I will miss her witty emails. RIP dear Barbara...may we all meet in the next life...hugs/Carol (Ward) Allen and girls.

I will dearly miss Barb and her cheerful personality. An amazing woman you are Barb; you started me on my real estate career 27 years ago when I walked into your office and you hired me, trained me, and we have become close friends over the years. We could always count on each other for help and support. My condolences to Chris, Kerry and Tony. She will be deeply missed.
